I’m Kat Scott, an elopement photographer, adventure addict, and Yosemite local on and off since 2018. My husband’s been here since 2014, so between the two of us, we’ve seen this park in every light, every season, and every wild mood it has to offer.
I’ve helped dozens of couples skip the stress, toss the traditions, and craft elopements that feel as free as the places we shoot. It’s about leaving the world behind and focusing on what really matters—each other.

was never really my thing...
Our wedding journey started like many others.
Weddings weren’t really on our radar until we suddenly found ourselves knee-deep in planning. With a love for travel and the outdoors, we wanted our day to reflect that—but blending those passions into a traditional wedding was easier said than done.
Eloping started as a joke, a wild what-if. But the more we thought about it, the more it felt right—an adventure perfectly tailored to us. In the end, we caved to family expectations and went the traditional route.
It was beautiful, but exhausting, and left us longing for something more...
Amid the chaos, there was one quiet moment—a meal alone, just the two of us. That moment changed everything. It reminded us what truly matters: connection, presence, and choosing each other.
Now, I help couples do exactly that. Whether it’s a sunrise ceremony on a mountaintop or a sunset vow exchange by a hidden waterfall, I’m here to capture the raw, real moments that matter most.
